Completely natural.

A semi-permanent micro pigmenting technique that transforms sparse, thin or gappy brows. Microblading has the ability to look completely natural when blended amongst existing hair or none at all. Unlike harsh block tattooing of the past, microblading mimics real brow hair and is individually customised to suit your features. Depending on your requirements, the brows can be subtly coloured or completely remodelled as each new strand is intricately etched and coloured into the skin.

Nicole is known for her eyebrow shaping and restoration abilities and uses a unique method of face and feature measurement to determine and map out the ideal shape and design to suit you, together with consultation to meet your needs.

You will be asked to fill out a consent form. During our consultation, brows are carefully designed and mapped out using pencil to represent the shape we intend on creating, once the shape is agreed on, topical anaesthetic is applied  for comfortable experience. Although you might feel the contact of the “etching” onto the skin, it has been likened to the sensation of the tip of a tweezer being dragged across the skin and is not painful. Numbing cream is continuously applied during the procedure.

Depending on the depth of colour applied, most people are comfortable to seen in public within 2-3 days if not immediately. The colour will appear darker than desired immediately after the treatment then begin to fade away in the days to follow. In some cases, clients have experienced up to 70% of the colour fading out of the skin in the first week. We recommend you do not get the area wet for 7 days and you will be given a 14 day post-care treatment plan to adhere to. You are unable to use any products on the eyebrow area for 14 days. Makeup can be used as normal but must not come into contact on the brows and surrounding areas during this time.

Colour  WILL fade/soften between 20% to 50% or more.  At the perfecting session we will fine tune any area that have faded too much, the treatment is not considered finished until the perfecting session has been performed. Healing is specific to each client.  It is important to realize that you will need a refresher every 12-18 months to maintain its fresh natural appearance.  Fading WILL happen after each procedure.  We do not have control over your bodies healing process.  You may need still to powder and/or pencil even after the healed results.  This is an enhancement to your natural brows....not a permanent one.

The treatment is recommended every 12-18 months to keep the brow strokes looking defined, rather than a “wash” of blurred colour. The blurring will occur due to exposure to the elements and product use. Oilier skin types have been known to require a 8-12 month refresh time frame as the pigment will fade at a much faster rate.

An organic pigment is implanted into the outer layers of the skin and will last anywhere between 9-18 months depending on the skin type. Drier skin types tend to retain the pigment far more effectively than oilier skin types. Clients who are heavy users of “active” ingredients in their skincare such as retinol, AHA and vitamin A, C and E are not recommended to undergo this treatment.

If you are out in the sun a lot, have oily skin, use, retin A / retinol products, acidic cleansers, smoking, regular chemical peels, or exercise frequently, your permanent makeup WILL fade prematurely.  The better you take care of the treated area and follow the provided aftercare, the longer it will last.
